High School Mixed – Maplewood Ultimate Fall League (MUFL)
New this year is our Maplewood Ultimate Fall League (MUFL). This league will be held Sunday nights @ DeHart, 6-8:30 (9/15-10/20). High School Mixed – DEVYL winter and summer leagues
While not a program of CHS Ultimate, The Delaware Valley Youth Ultimate is hosting leagues for all 9th through 12th grade players for the winter season. Devyl is a sponsored USA Ultimate Club League which means our goal is to provide playing opportunity regardless of town affiliation. Teams are created organizer, be competitively balanced, and mix up players from different towns. This is a qualifying league for USA Ultimate’s Youth Club Championships (YCC) so this league will cause you to be eligible to try out for a DEVYL YCC Team.
Elementary School – Beyond the Bell
Beyond the Bell is an after-school enrichment program coordinated by the South Mountain YMCA in partnership with the South Orange Maplewood School District. The Y afterschool programs at Seth Boyden and Clinton Elementary School will be offering two sessions of Ultimate through Beyond the Bell for 3rd through 5th graders.
Elementary and Middle – HOMETOWN Recreation League
Hometown is a recreational league offered by Maplewood Recreation. This program is for youth in grades 6-8 who are interested in learning to play Ultimate Frisbee, from fundamental skills to intermediate strategies. No experience needed. Players are expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn, take direction, demonstrate good sportsmanship (spirit of the game), and commit to attend at least 8 of the 10 weeks of the regular season.
