Middle School Programs

High School Mixed Team

CHS Ultimate is excited to field our first official mixed team.

Mixed ultimate is a gender-inclusive division of ultimate frisbee featuring on-field ratios of alternating 4-3 and 3-4 players (men and women) per point.
Key Aspects of Mixed Ultimate. Gender Ratios: Teams typically play with either 4 men and 3 women or 3 men and 4 women on the field at a time. Governing bodies like USA Ultimate use specific rules (such as ABBA rule variations) to determine these ratios per point. Spirit and Culture: The division balances high-level, competitive play through the World Flying Disc Federation with a strong emphasis on community, inclusivity, and self-officiating. Competition Levels: Elite clubs compete across regional and national circuits, including marquee tournaments and world club championships.

30+ league – the Adultimates

Men and Women aged 30+ are welcome to participate in this low key, friendly pick-up game. The group meets Sunday mornings, Thursday evenings and Tuesday evenings. For more information, please contact Program Coordinator David Rojer (dr.rojer@gmail.com).

High School Mixed – DEVYL winter and summer leagues

While not a program of CHS Ultimate, the Delaware Valley Youth Ultimate League (DEVYL) is offering winter and spring leagues open to all 9th–12th grade players. DEVYL is a USA Ultimate-sponsored club league, which means its goal is to provide playing opportunities to youth athletes regardless of their town or school affiliation. Teams are created by the organizers to be competitively balanced and intentionally mix players from different communities. This league is also a qualifying event for USA Ultimate’s Youth Club Championships (YCC), meaning participation will make you eligible to try out for a DEVYL YCC team.
