COUGAR TRAVEL TEAM: 3 consecutive NJ state championships.

For middle school players who want to practice more and compete against tougher opponents, CHS Ultimate is again offering our Cougars Travel Team. This is open to players in the 6th through 8th grades and we welcome all genders and gender identities. The skill range is broad, but this is not the best for complete beginners. Those folks should register for one or both of the options above. Our travel team will participate in several New Jersey area tournaments this fall, and we may travel farther in the winter and spring. We’ll practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm at Maplecrest Park (note the change!) and Sundays from 12:45 pm to 3:15 pm at Maplecrest when we are not in a tournament. We ask players to attend at least two practices per week. We will collect dues and order jerseys later in September, so if kids want to try this out before committing, just register below and we’ll see you at practice!  It’s fun, but we work hard to improve.

The program meets Wednesdays from 4 pm to 6 pm at Maplecrest Park (this is a change in location from last year), starting on 9/11. We expect to hold our last session on 10/30. We encourage players to consider this in addition to Hometown Ultimate above.
