THE FOUNDER’S DAY HAT TOURNAMENT

2025 CHS Ultimate Friends & Family Founder’s Day Hat Tournament

Once again, we will be hosting a condensed Founder’s Day Hat Tournament immediately following the Alumni Game as part of the 2025 CHS Ultimate Founders’ Day Celebration!

Registration:
The Founder’s Day Hat Tournament is open to people ages 14+, but pre-registration is required to secure a spot. Register on this website by 6:00 pm on Friday, November 28. Space is limited, so register early!

Event Details:

• Ages: 14 and up
• When: Saturday, November 29, 2025
  • Check in at the registration table by 1:45 pm
  • First pull at 2:00 pm
  • Round 1 – 2:00 – 2:40 pm
  • Round 2 – 2:45 – 3:25 pm
  • Round 3 – 3:30 – 4:10 pm
  • The final game will hard cap at 4:10 pm
  • Awards – 4:15 pm
• Where: Underhill Sports Complex

• Who: Open to active and alumni CHS players, Sparkle Motion players, and friends and family of the program (ages 14+). Participants should be familiar with the rules of the game.
  Note for alumni: This registration is only for the Hat Tournament. If you’d like to participate in the Alumni Game, please register for that separately.
• Format: Players will be randomly assigned to teams of up to 22 players. Teams will compete in three 40-minute rounds of ultimate frisbee. We’ll have 4 teams, depending on field space and enrollment. Registration will likely be capped at 88 players, with a waitlist if necessary. Players will receive their team assignments and schedule via email on the morning of Saturday, November 29.

Waiver:
All participants must agree to the waiver at the end of the checkout process.

Weather:

We can’t control the weather, but we’ll do our best to hold the event as planned. In the event of inclement weather, we’ll make a judgment call about rescheduling. Please note that the $10 registration fee is non-refundable, but if the event is rescheduled, your registration will carry over.
