2024 CHS Ultimate Friends & Family Founder’s Day Hat Tournament
This year, we’re hosting a condensed Founder’s Day Hat Tournament immediately following the Alumni Game as part of the first CHS Ultimate Founders’ Day Celebration!
A “hat” tournament is a casual, fun event where players sign up individually rather than as part of a team. At the start of the tournament, participants’ names are randomly drawn to create teams with a mix of skill levels.
Registration:
The Founder’s Day Hat Tournament is open to people ages 14+, but pre-registration is required to secure a spot. Register on this website by 6:00 pm on Friday, November 29. Space is limited, so register early!
Event Details:
- Ages: 14 and up
- When: Saturday, November 30, 2024
- Check in with Sean Lorre by 2:00 pm
- First pull at 2:15 pm
- The final game will hard cap at 4:30 pm
- Where: Underhill Sports Complex

Google Maps link - Who: Open to active and alumni CHS players, Sparkle Motion players, and local friends and family of the program. Participants should be familiar with the rules of the game.
Note for alumni: This registration is only for the Hat Tournament. If you’d like to participate in the Alumni Game, please register for that separately. - Format: Players will be randomly assigned to teams of up to 20 players. Teams will compete in three 40-minute rounds of ultimate frisbee. We’ll have 4-6 teams, depending on field space and enrollment. Registration will likely be capped at 80-100 players, with a waitlist if necessary. Players will receive their team assignments and schedule via email on the morning of Saturday, November 30.
Waiver:
All participants must agree to the waiver at the end of the checkout process.
